What do count_select and count_view mean in this context?

I am confused about the meaning of count_select and count_view in this discussion thread. Can someone explain their specific meanings?

count_select refers to the number of times the user accepts a completion, while count_view refers to the number of times ghost text is displayed in the IDE, regardless of whether the user accepts or dismisses it later.
