The closest thing on this would be https://github.com/TabbyML/tabby/issues/790 - we're still blocked by a native ggml implementation of bert/jina embedding. But it surely has many pieces to use some help. A rag system is essentially extracting relevant snippets from a document repository. In Cody's scenario - they indexed both code and repository. Cody collects relevant snippets from the client side.
